HD receiver with non-hd dish

I have a a HD dish and hd standard receiver but I do not subscribe to HD service nor do I have HD televisions. I have an older non-hd dish at my second home just down the road from where I subscribe to Directv. Can I take my hd receiver to my 2nd home and hook it up to my old dish? it is a RCA ds4121re dish. If this is possible, do I have to do anything different to set it up?

Yes. But, you need to re-run satellite setup and select the dish at the 2nd home location.

Does my dish keep the same coordinates?

Probably not. You'll need to look on the receiver when you re-do sat setup.
Or go to dishpointer.com and enter your address and select the appropriate sat from the drop down menu.
