Anyone know if the HD receivers like the Pansat 9200HD downconvert the HD feeds to the analog outputs, or is the HD content passed only to the HD outputs (HDMI etc.)? I am considering adding one of these to my system.

Thanks.

I've watched downconverted HD with that box via the S input on an old CRT set. The only problem is aspect ratio, the people look squished, etc.

Iceburg uses his cs8100/8000 to down convert and I dont recall it being bad

I use the svideo jack from my CS8000 to a seperate PVR setup, and it works just fine. Looks good, not screwy at all. Gives me a nice SD recording of the HD broadcast.

What good are all-port power-passing splitters?
