I had installer come out about 1 year ago to upgrade to HD and after drilling holes in my siding to mount dish, he came to the conclusion that my western facing mountainside trees would be blocking signal. With my old c-band dish i could only get up to Anik D2 111 degrees. The installer said DTV would be using new sats for HD Can i now get all HD channels at my location Zip code is 13856. My locals are New york city based, will i still get these.
I also have had HughesNet/Directpc two way internet service dish, which installed with no problems with line of sight

If you can get 101 chances are very high you will get HD now. May be time to make that call again.

Anybody know if the New York city HD local feeds are on 99, 101 or 103
