J joed32 SatelliteGuys Pro Jun 21, 2005 1,438 19 Riverside, Ca Aug 5, 2010 #2 No difference and no upgrades. They can handle anything being broadcast or downloaded on VOD. 3D, 1080p, etc. If something comes up in the future they can upgrade firmware, but not change the HDMI version.
