Hello Guys,
I am Cool Heat, I just registered in the forum. I am 62 and I touch everything that is called technical. I am a french speeking guy, so you will excuse my english.
I own a old radio shack motorized 10' prime focus c band dish, it originaly came with a realistis satellite receiver SR 2010 ( this is very far away in time).
Still we can receive hundreds of c band free to air signals (with newer receivers of course).
My problem is to find the installation manual for this dish (BUD).
Can anyone help me on this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Cool Heat and welcome to the forums.

You are posting in an area which is intended to discuss the operation of the forum itself. Not a big deal, but you are not likely to reach the people who can answer your questions here.

We have an excellent FTA section of the board, and I expect that if you post over there, you will have an answer very quickly. Unfortunately, I am not a FTA expert.

Anyway, best of luck, and again :welcome

cool your post got moved, hopefully somebody can answer your question. Radio Shack dishes are few and far between I think, don't hear a lot about them. From what I remember they looked to be a well-constructed mesh dish. We have a section on Manuals too, I checked but nothing on radio shack dishes. If you have a specific question about the dish, post it and we will try to help. Welcome to Satelliteguys!

Thanks everybody,
The point I need to clarify is how to set the elevation angle of my motorized H to H 10' dish. In fact it is a very robust mesh dish that accepts several mountings and dismountings. I am located at 12.23 degrees north and 352.42 longitude. What will be my inclinaison and inclinaison offset angles.

My chart shows you using a elevation of about 12 degrees ( your latitude ), and a declination angle of about 2 degrees. I think you can fine tune on your True south satellite from those settings. This chart is a re-compilation of the pages submitted by FatAIR, on of our members
:)
