Hello Need Help Please

I am new to this and I'm interested in getting a new KU motorized system just for hobby stuff. It looks like to me that it's worth it being that there is many discussions. I was wondering do I need to get a cband system also? Is it really worth it and am I missing a lot without it?

Yeah, there's a lot on C band. More 24/7. Ku not as much. More feeds on Ku tho.

If I somehow lost my BUD, I'd be lost also. Good thing is I know of a trove of spares.
