Help Me!! DP 44 switch (is this how is get cbs hd from dish

when I first called them (dish) they said that the techs had the dish pointed at the wrong satelite, they set up service call, the tech then called me and said that in order to get cbshd I had to have a 44 switch. They wouldn't even come to my house. Do I need this switch?

I don't know what they will do for me as I'm waiting till April 1 for the 92 to 622 $99 deal.

I currently have 148 and a 34 as a couple of local channels were/are on 148, I also get CBS-HD from 148. The local channels are now mirrored to 129 so if they just swing the 148 to 129 for HD I'll holler as that means I would lose CBS-HD. Looks like the need for 4 sats and a 44 in my case??? To bad they won't let us have CBS-HD from the HD locals. I could just switch to Chicago HD local on 129 and be in business with 3 sats.
