Hi,

Can anyone with TSReader Pro give me the SID/PMT values for Transponder 1 FR3720, SR26700 H otherwise known as the CW on Galaxy 11 C-Band digital?

I need them for:
CW East
CW West
CW Central

By borrowing another unused channel, I have gotten the Video, Audio, and PCR PIDs input. After reading on the DvbDream forum, it is nescessary to have the SID/PMT input correctly or no picture.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Fred, I don't have any of the PC stuff, like TSReader to help you with, but I've got a Quali-tv receiver that will pick up the PMT reading. The problem is, that the CW mux has to be done manually, by entering the PID's in manually. And the Quali-tv won't do PID's manually. So I can't scan in this mux. However, I looked at the old PMT for the former WB HD feed and it was 32. Don't know if they use the same or not. Also, the GDMX channels, which I think may be related to WB, have PMT's of 256 and 257. Maybe one of these will work for you? If not, I'm sure someone who has TSReader will help you out. Good Luck!

Hey Al,

I gave your PMTs a shot and tried all three of your numbers using SIDs 1 through 5, and didn't get anything.

I have the other PIDs already input.

According to what I read, all I need is those two numbers. Maybe someone has a Spectral Analyzer and will read this and give us some input.

Thanks for looking,

Fred

Hi Digiblur,

Yes, I did see the hex values, and have converted them to decimal.

They are as follows:
0x0065 = 101
0x0066 = 102
0x00c9 = 201
0x00ca = 202
0x012d = 301
0x12e = 302
All the above are the VPIDs and APIDs for the three channels

0x1001 = 4097
0x1002 = 4098
0x1fff = 8791
I have tried the above three in every combination as SID and PMT that I can, and I get the signal in the bottom, and it tells me that it is 704x480? 4:2:0, but the picture is black and the audio is silent.

I have tried the update, and it says the Service ID may have changed and to re-scan.

I was hoping one of those three numbers were what I needed, but it doesn't appear that they are.

After trying several combinations of numbers from above and finding the analysis feature in the menu in DvbDream, I have determined that 4098 is the PMT.

It is the only number that gets calls using the analysis. The VPID and APID are showing in the analysis and fully functional.

If I could only figure out the SID now, I think I could get picture and sound on these stations.

SID shouldn't make a difference. You just need the VPID and APID's to identify the streams. Can you see them in TSReader after manually defining them?

Hi again Digiblur,

I only have TSReader Lite, and it won't allow me to input any PIDs manually, and so I can't see them using it.

DvbViewer TE allows me to input them and it displays them.

I can input them into DvbDream, but it won't display them. I can get everything but the display and sound. SQ, packets, everything else, but no picture.

I would just use DvbViewer, but it's method of LAN streaming doesn't work very well.

DvbDream's LAN streaming is excellent, and works very well in every other way.

I am hoping to get it worked out so I will only have to use one program for everything. :D

Thanks for your help,

Fred
