Interesting. Albuquerque is not unique in the west though. Denver uses Lookout Mountain, which is also the site of Buffalo Bill's grave, outstanding views and a lot of expensive homes.
Only reason I post is that Denver used the transition to digital TV as an excuse to cut the number of towers by 1/2. There is a lot more sharing, and the end result is more pleasing than the mess the article shows in Albuquerque.
