I had my Hopper install 3 days after release and they didn't have any HICs available. When they did become available I called Dish and they installed one for free even though a Hopper was right next to my router. They may give you one. If you do buy one and put it on a run with a Hopper pick up a tap also.

You do know you don't need a HIC, right? Just plug the Hopper directly into the LAN.

HIC is still useful if you don't have an Ethernet connection at a Hopper location. HIC can also be used in reverse to provide Ethernet connectivity to devices located in rooms with only coax.

What happens at 10,000 Cinderella?

At 5,000 he can take that and $5 and get a coffee at Starbucks. At 10,000 he gets the keys to the executive washroom. At 20,000 or 25,000 depending upon how Bobby feels, he gets to store his own bottle at the Pub. I had to do that, as I seem to be the only one drinking Haller's Reserve.
