Hidden fees?

Are there any hidden fees on a DishTV monthly bill, other than local sales
tax? Any FCC or Franchise fees or junk like that? If I sign up for a promotion
that gives me free lease on the equip, and I keep my receiver hooked up
to my phone line, are there any other charges to be aware of?

4.98 for a DVR fee (if you have a DVR)
4.99 if you have additional receivers (or if you dont plug the dual tuner into phone line)

And now it looks like a $6 fee to use a Dish receiver for OTA HD without subbing to a Dish HD package.

Hidden means something that is there, but you don't realize it.
Yes, there is a hidden fee of $5 for "infrastructure" or something like that. It is included in all of the packages, AT60 through the everything pack. If you decide not to subscribe to an SD pack, then you will still have to pay that fee!
Be mindful that this fee isn't something that is added on, you will pay it and most don't realize it is there.
