Homemade dish for C Band

I want to make a homemade dish for C Band.
I like very much the mesh dishes and I want to make one
I need advice from who have made such a dish, all tehnical stuffs
2,4m is a optimal size !

somewhere I saw a picture of a c band dish that looked like it was made from a square or rectangle 2 x 4 frame with mesh or wire on the inside but do not remember where.

Prolly one of our most visited threads, is VK's thread on buildin' his own dish!!

Simmo is the moderator, and posted right after me, so I respectfully removed my question or comment.
As I recall, it was something about me making or brainstorming on a dish design.

Eventually, I sobered up and realized it was a fool's errand to build a BUD, when so many were free in the wild! -

They're a pretty nice bunch on Vetrun.
But it's a forum for locals, and North Americans don't really have much to offer 'em.
Plus, every brand name we know, they don't.. and vice-versa.
So, it's even difficult to discuss hardware with 'em.
