I have recorded several shows and I am getting up to a 92 full on the hard drive. What happens when it goes to 100 full.

It will start to have issues before you get to 100 and should ask you to delete some recordings

IIRC if you do not have recordings protected, the receiver will delete the oldest ones.

You could add an external hard drive and transfer your recordings to it. You can't record to an external drive but you can archive any recordings you wish to keep.
