Hopper freezing even on OTA channels?

hopper #1 is freezing and not playing back recordings properly. if we watch a recording as its recorded it looks fine then they play back it freezes and says partial loss.


on the OTA channels they have been fuzzy though the hopper for a few days now but on the linked Joey they appear fine. on the linked joey playback of recording is freezing and states partial loss as does the hopper.


we have tried resetting the boxes with hard and soft resets and removed all the OTA channels and re-scanned them and it still does the same thing,


any sugestions? ota and hopper bad? im confused. signal strength is good.

try unplugging everything at the same time for a few minutes, then plug in each hopper, then each joey...often, this helps...

Is it happening on all of your OTA channels? What is the signal strength you have on those OTA channels? Does playing back a satellite channel (i.e. USA channel 105) recordings also display these symptoms?

Disconnect OTA completely from the Hopper, see what happens.
