Yes I followed the instructions to perform the update (an act I now regret) and after it was complete unplugged everything for at least 10 seconds and then plugged each unit back in.

All the little Joeys might feel better in the morning.

So, you did the procedure, downloaded the firmware that was supposed to have the new GUI and you didn't get the new interface?

I wouldn't tell him that I initiated the download if I were you. I'd play dumb and act as if it did it itself.

That is what I said. Some seem to think I will have it tomorrow or be back to the old state. I do not know. I will report back when i can.

The way to force the update has apparently been deactivated.

Going from 3 to 2.5 hours is a major step back for me.

Can confirm wireless Joey looks good and is snappy. Carbon coolness. Did not brick my Hopper.

My Hopper 2 that has the new GUI, software version U201 seems to be working good this morning. I have only one Joey 1, software version S395 linked to this Hopper. The Joey is working fine this morning but it is not using the new GUI.

Yep, because 5 minutes after he gets the new GUI he'll be back looking for new apps, new HD channels, etc.....
