I have a situation where the remote is just at the edge of its range to control the PVR (Bell 9241). Does anyone know the frequencies of channels A and B for the Bell Echo Star IR/UHF PRO remote model 6.4 so I can build a high gain UHF receiving antenna?

Thanks and regards, John.

Is the remote beimg used in another room? If so, you can use 2 diplexers or simply put a coaxial extension on the little uhf antenna.

Yes the remote is in another room about 60 ft. away in a straight line through 3 walls past kitchen appliances. Using the co-ax signal line is not an option because the TV connection is HDMI. I have tried moving the antenna closer with no improvement in reception. I assume there are trade-offs between over the air distance and cable length.

I am using a Sabrent HDMI extender, it uses two CAT6 cables. I believe I have the solution in this case, I switched the remote from channel A to B which seems to have greater range. So far no missed button pushes! :D
