Hr 24 Guide issues

It seems like when i'm thumbing through the guide using the up or down arrow, going through each channel listing one at a time, as i approach one of the banner channels the guide then skips four or five channels and i have to then thumb back to the ones that were skipped. I don't think it did this before the instant rewind feature was added. Anyway to go back to the original software? Also, the receiver seems more clunky too since the rewind was added.

I haven't noticed anything like that on my HR24s.
