HR 44 WiFi connection

My HR 44 receiver is connected to my WiFi network. Sometimes it will say its disconnected and wants me to set it up again. Is this a common problem with the wireless Genie?

Sorta, it's a hit and miss. It's a known issue that should be taken care of after the next update

Try using a wired connection.

the internal deca is specifically touchy with certain ssids and encryption types. no special characters, and wpa2-personal are the preferred choice.
