HR20-700 / Sep. 21 & 22 / {CE:09:05 and 9:05a} - 0x19D & 0x19E

It was just announced in the chat room on the other site that tonights HR20-700 CE release will be a new one, not the same as last nights. This is being done to correct the slow perfomance in the DoD function. Tom Robertson says that notifications will be going out shortly.

  • DoD: Misc. Reported issues fixed
  • DoD: Performance improvement
  • User interface polishing
  • DoD UI: Restored CHANNEL UP/DOWN in the Homepage Left Menu.
  • DoD UI: Homepage "tuning" fix for consistent prevs channel
  • DoD UI: Added “On Demand” to quick menu after “My Playlist”
  • DoD UI: UI Polishing/fixes
  • Caller ID (no specifics on what)
  • UPnP issue that certain networked Cameras could crash the box.
  • A plethora of fixes to issues identifed in the previous CE's
  • Several UI Fixed and Polishing
  • Fixed the CE Introduced issue with items in the ToDo List, but ultimately not recording
  • DoD UI: "More VOD" in ever page

  • Left arrow mimics "BACK" when practical
  • Long channel name in search by channel
  • Ability to hide SD channels if duplicate HD channel with same number exists
  • Support for Remote Booking
  • DoD: Pressing INFO when over the DoD channel goes directly to the "ALL" List

Notes
  • There are other misc. updates in the release
  • GUIDE DATA WILL NOT BE CACHED they are enhancing pieces of the guide data, which means you WILL LOSE your guide data after the install. It will repopulate over the next 20-24 hours.
    This is only valid if you are comming from 0x18a, if you are on 0x19* you are not expected to lose your guide cache
  • DoD GUIDE DATA will most likely be lost after you reboot the system.
  • This is the fifth CE in the cycle... So the risk level is lower then the previous ones, but there is still a risk involved. Please only download this CE release if you are willing to take that risk

I D/L'ed new software Friday night and was out of town Saturday ...

Sorry but no word if they'll do another one tonight, I doudt it though.

I saw the test channels last night and the wait will be worth it. Patience is we need right now for Directv to work the kinks out but the PQ looks very promising.
 
any idea if what is coming this fri and sat 28th and 29th? i need to get 0X19E ...I am shooting myself for not downloading it after ver.0x19d ...
