I can't seem to figure this out. I currently have two HR21s hooked up to one tv. One of course on the D selection, one on AV1, and then on AV2 I have my Sony surround sound, and my TV on the TV selection of my RC64R remote.
I do not use the sound on my TV at all. I only have my TV programed so I can turn it off and on. I am able to control the sound if I move the slide over to AV2 and then can control my Sony SS.
How can I get the D and AV1 selection to control my Sony SS when I use the volume keys?
I tried to do this:
1. Slide the MODE switch to the AV2
2. Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys until the
green light under the selected switch flashes twice and
release both keys.
3. Using the number keys, enter 9 9 3. (The green light
flashes twice.)
It still will try to change my TV volume if I am under the D, AV1, or TV.
Suggestions?
