I just installed the slimline 5lnb dish, one HR21 and one H21 receiver. The H21 receiver is connected through a 50 foot RG6 quad shield cable and the HR21 receiver is connected through a 30 foot RG6 quad shield cable. The H21 receiver signal strength indicate that my alignment is good. The HR21 tuner 1 signal strenght indicate that my alignment is good but tuner 2 of this same receiver signal strength measures about 10 to 15 point lower than tuner 1 for some of the transponders. I swapped the cables and B band converter from tuner 1 to tuner 2 and the problem stayed with tuner 2. I took the HR21 upstair and connected the 50 cable to tuner 1 and got good readings. I then connected this cable to tuner 2 and got lower readings. I received another HR21 and it had the same problem with tuner 2 reading lower but worst. It could not find satellite 99 and 119. The readings below reflect my signal strength for my HR21 tuner 1 and tuner 2 and my H21. I am not have a problem but I believe this is not right and may become a problem later.
Can anybody tell me what might be causing this lower reading on tuner 2?

Both tuners should read relatively close to each other.

If you aren't having any problems then I wouldn't worry about it

If you are having problems with 771 errors or recording issues, try a Restart of the system(not Reset).
