HR22/100 Receivers Are slow

All of the Directv branded receivers/dvrs work with the Slimline dishes. 200 feet is a bit longer than recommended. There is a new GUI on the way very soon that should speed things up for you. Patience grasshopper!

If the problem is channel changing speed, is the GUI change really going to help?

yes it does. Its much faster now

Having 2 R22's...one with a CE release of the HD GUI and one with the older guide there is definitely more zip on the HD GUI one

I have 2 HR24's and an HR22. The 22 runs almost as fast as the 24's do with the new HD guide, don't know why but it really speeds up the DVR's. Mine is networked together and it doesn't slow it down at all now. Give it time, you'll notice a difference! It's like night and day!
