HR24 on single feed legacy 18inch dish?

Going to a camp next weekend and I don't want to drag a slimline swm up there.

can I take my HR24 and hook it up to the single line feed 18 inch dish pointed at 101? I know I won't have HD and only one tuner. I just want it to be able to work and watch a little bit of TV.

yes it will work fine
you just have to redo the satellite setup to 18" round (1st one in the list) and multiswitch (not SWM)

Basically it has to boot up and go through a few menu options I think until it gets past "step 1 of 2" then you can hit menu and into setup, then satellite and redo satellite setup
