All I am getting is Searching for New Software Message for about 3 minutes now.

My HR22 just says "searching for new software (029B)"
The numbers above that line say 2/4/36/30

The 36 keeps increasing and 30 kept flipping back and forth to 31 now it alternates between 30 31 40 43.

I'm gonna try again in an hour or so. I already unplugged the machine several times.

there was a bit of time where some of them weren't downloading. they should all be working now, it seems.

There were some problems with some of the receivers not having the software in the stream, I know the -100 was in there.

It appears they are all ok now, so go ahead and reboot and retry the download.

I noticed that there is a "We have updated your Software Display" with this release. It's somethign about news Blockbuster Movies. I think that there should be something in there about improved Stability, Speed and other improved/ fixed things.

How do you check to make sure the SW updated? twice in a row did the reset 02468 and each time it said found new SW 2C0A and the starts downloading but at 95% all of a sudden the system reboots. Anyway I cant figure out how best to check if it actually updated the sw or is crashing on me.

Menu- Set up - System Set Up - Info and Test- look at Past Upgrade
Mine now for my HR20-700 is 0x2ca, that is the current CE software for my model rec.

My HR21-200 with AM21 is faster than its ever been this morning. Scrolling response in the guide is almost instantaneous. Only takes about 1- 2 seconds for the guide to come up. Its almost as fast as Charper1's who claims his was instantaneous with the last software before this one. Good job D*!!!!!!!

This is exactly what happened when I downloaded ... It got to 95% and rebooted, my version still says 02AF, so I assume that means that it didn't install the download.

I was suspicious that it didn't install so I restarted and downloaded again and the same thing happened 95% ..reboot. Version still reports as 02AF.

HR20-100, first time downloading CE.

There were some issues with the download being in the stream early last night (prior to 11:30) and late as well. It only affected some.

If you couldn't get it last night, give it a try Saturday instead. Not sure what the problem was - but it was nothing on the user's end.
