HR34 700 Genie Questions

I can't remember now what the software version was, but now it's 5F? Not sure he put it on National. He said they were having a problem with the Genie in the Phoenix market ( I live 2 hrs. north) and the Denver markets due to the old software version. Also he had to replace my dish. He looked at the sat strength and the HD channels were in the 50's and 60's. He said there was a flaw in the dish in the initial install. I went over all this with cust. serv. and they didn't pick up on this. All in all a good and educational experience with DTV and this tech.

Any update AJF? I had the genie 44 installed a week ago and am still receiving the updating msg you experienced. I called directv and they escalated the claim bc they've never heard of such an issue.
