Can each client watch a different recording on the DVR at the same time?

Do you have to pay the whole home DVR service for this setup?

Yes -- you can watch or record up to five different programs via the Genie.

Yes -- my understanding is that you have to pay WHDVR with any Genie package.

Yes. The hr44 has 5 tuners which feed up to 3 different clients. Therefore, you can watch three different programs on each client and watch another program on the HR44 while recordings something else.

I believe the WH this is automatically part of any Genie package.
