Hulu just doesn't seem to know what they want to be which makes defining and operating the service a bit daunting.

I know exactly what Hulu is. It's the "front" the networks use when they say that they want their product to be available online. They're not serious about it. Thus the problem trying to sell it after a potential buyer does their due diligence.
Yeah, reading a few articles makes me think they'll have a very tough time finding a buyer since they really aren't bringing much to the table.
I'm subscribed to HuluPlus at the moment, but as soon as I've caught up on the shows I watch there I'll suspend the account for quite awhile. The big downside to HuluPlus to me is that while they have some of the current season, they don't have them all. Seems to be a gaping hole between what Netflix/Amazon has in previous seasons and what HuluPlus has currently. Makes marathon watching not so good with Hulu.
