Hi,

I am in Sarasota Florida. Do you guys reccomend removing a satellite dish before a hurricane? Its a Directv phase III located on the southwest side of my house, where the storm winds come from.

Thanks

yes. but wait until you find out where wilma going. you have all day tomorrow to deceide.

my dish did ok with topical storm winds last year.

I agree with korsjs, my dishes were fine with the winds we got last year with the 2 storms that went by my place and I didn't even have to realign or tweak :D . Unless you get higher than tropical storm force winds I wouldn't worry to much, but I guess it also depends on how strong its mounted also.

My dish is mounted on concrete block wall with tapcons. Also, one of my neighbors has a superdish that will be really exposed to the winds from the southwest. I wonder If he should take his down.
