as of now, DirecTV has launched it's "Severe Weather Mix" for the arrival of Hurricane Florence as she is arriving as a major hurricane. it's currently on channel 361-1 or it's normal home of channel 205 in which is normally the Sports Mix channel. tomorrow the Severe Weather Channel will go live with local coverage wall to wall from TV stations in TV markets affected by Florence. it will be on channel 361-2, and will be live until Florence is done being a hurricane.

the Severe Weather Channel has shut down and be replace with a slate saying "Severe Weather Channel" and Severe Weather Mix has been replaced with the Generic DirecTV logo slate, while Sports Mix is back on channel 205. i'm sure it will fully disapper from the lineup by this time tomorrow.

for more coverage from the local stations in the affected areas, now you have to watch them online on those stations respected websites,
