I Don't Want HD Locals-Is New 5 LNB Dish Needed Right Now?

I am sorry if this has been answered before. I tried the search feature but I was told I had to enter more than 3 words into the search, even though I was.
I just moved into a new apt. where the previous tenants left a 3 LNB dish up for HD. I am going to a store today to purchase a new H20 or HR20. I want the new HD channels but I don't want any locals in HD. I get my local HD channels uncompressed from my OTA antenna.
For now is my 3LNB dish ok since I don't want locals in HD? Or do I need to upgrade today to a 5LNB dish to receive the new non local HD channels? Thanks.

To my knowledge, you have to have 5 to receive the new HD channels on the 2 new satellites.

OK thanks. I have been away from DirecTV for over 4 years. Since Voom went under I've only had OTA HD and DVD's. I was coming back to D but didn't want to wait for an installer since I can do it all myself.
