IDC: Apple iPad's market share drops under 40% in Q1

Yeah with some of the new hardware coming out folks are seeing that there are other options besides iPads. But at this point it's no real loss for them
at this point in time so its still to early to see how things will pan out.

Did unit sales increase?

More units are shipping overall do Apple can grow sales while dropping on a percentage basis.
