If you could change one thing in your FTA dish setup, what would it be?

I wish I could find a way to make my 30" grow to 36". I'm right on the arc and I know as soon as I move anything or change anything, blam, gonna lose it all cause thats the kind of luck I have. lol

you've heard of the nicotine patch...

You know, there's a good Viagra joke in there....
Maybe we need to come up with a cream or spray-on for those ineffective dishes. :p

On a more serious note, have ya considered a hot LNB?
That might be all ya need to keep your sanity.
Read the reviews - they really help.

I'd like to cut down the neighbor's oak tree, or at least top it out back down to where it was 15 years ago. :D

I used to get C1, but now I only get it with sparkles in the winter. :( In the spring when the leaves come out, bye-bye C1...

I'm afraid C4 may be next, within 5 years or so.

hd

Old school NBC on Satcom C1 baby!! Those were the days.....

Get me a 2.4m from SatelliteAV, and a corotorII c/ku feed. I've already got the pole and an actuator hooked to my 1.2m C.M., but I need c-band too!!!

I wish that I had a 16' or larger dish (compared to the 10' that I have now) and wished that Megapipe, Powervu were subscribable. Also, a Blindscan receiver with 4:2:2, PVR HD receiver.

I can only see G10R from my apartment's balcony (go figure, I'm in Orlando). Sports feeds are few and far between. Plus, a lot of them start at midnight here. So I guess I'd wish for a yard.

I would definitely go with a 1.2 M dish. I have a 1 M. works great. I'm also limited on Dish size. I believe a 1.2 would give me an outside chance to get C band reception.....oh I almost forgot... hello, I'm new to this forum.

I would like to add neon lights to the dish perimeter so that it will illuminate when voltage is sent to the LNBF. :D :D

red for 13v, blue for 18v damn that would be funny.

if this was a wish and it will come true Id say a 12ft solid aluminum dish would be nice, but I think Im going to have to settle for a 6ft one.

That really wouldn't be all that hard to do............although a bit time consuming......but look at the group of guys I'm talking to, the ones that (and I can attest to this) would spend countless hours/days/weeks just to get that one previously unattainable distant signal and after all that hard work never ever watch it...............I digress.

If I could change one thing it would have to be location, I have massive oak trees around the perimiter of my back yard. Things are ok in the winter when the leaves are gone but I can't get anywhere near a complete arc.......:(
I am fixing up the house to sell it and my girlfriend and I both want to live just a little way out of town on an acre or 2 of land..........so the dish farm would not have any limits!
