Im mixed up

The module that is pushed into the 4dtv receiver what is it called. Are there two types namely a videocipher and a digicipher.Will someone explain it to me.I was told that the module is a videocipher and the digicipher is built into the receiver for digital reception and doesnt need the module to work unless i need analogue reception.

The board in the back is Videocipher II,,,that gets you the subscription analog channels (not many left...I think just Weather)
Digicipher is built in and that is what you subscribe to for digital channels

what you posted is correct. You DO NOT need the Videocipher box to subscribe to digital channels
