imagin asian AC3 sound help..

Hello everyone, I'm trying to watch imaginAsian tv on g10r 11720 27692... I get a very clear image but I can't get the ac3 sound. I have a fortec lifetime receiver with ac3 < rca plug type > output. However on my home theater there is no < rca plug type > for dolby digital input.. The only inputs are regular rca inputs for stereo sounds and 1 optical input but it's not < rca plug type>.. I there a way I can hook this up and get audio on this channel..Thanks for help...

there is a converter that I think Radio shack sells. Turns a rca plug into an optical
