in Minnesota ... which way to go?

My father had Shawdirect and received a free Bell system with his TV purchase so we hooked them both up side by side. The Shawdirect picture was undeniably better. This was a couple of years ago looking at SD pictures. The Shawdirect system did much better in heavy rain then the Bell. The Shawdirect continued to work fine while the Bell pixelated out. I find Shawdirect has better customer service but that may be subjective.

It's not subjective, it is a fact the customer service is better with Shaw Direct, but on the other hand if you call and complain about your service you have a much better chance of getting anywhere from 10-40% off of your programming for a year with Bell TV. Odds are that will not happen for anyone south of the Canadian border so that is really a mute point anyways.
