What you'll have to watch out for, is forced updates and reboots from Microsoft. Since DVR's are expected to run 24/7/365, that can cause a reboot at the worst time, and maybe not record a timer you may have set. That's the biggest downfall of using Windows as the base software. I've heard there's a registry tweak you can make to stop the updates. Or perhaps you can find a way to set them to always happen at a time that shouldn't cause a conflict. I haven't upgraded to Win 11 as of yet myself.
