Is a SW21 and Diseq Switch the Same?

Just wondering if they are the same thing and if the SW21 can be used for fta. Thinking for 101 and 97.
 
I'm pretty sure SW21's are only readable through a Dish Network receiver. Maybe I'm wrong, but there could be a workaround. Depends on if it uses 22k or Diseqc technology. Standby for Ice and others whom would know more.

From those birds it sounds like your after the Glorystar package. There's a whole forum on that as well. I think they both come down on 97 and 101.
 
sadly Dish Network uses their own switching technology so it won't work :(

Tried it once with a couple KU LNB's and only got port A to work.

I read somewhere that SW21's are 20 KHz and DTV switches are 21 KHz. Don't mix them with Diseqc switches either, I learned the hard way and smoked 'em all. EEEeeeeK!
