Is HD Theatre Going Bye Buh?

[David Taylor]

Just went to the website. Good news:

"Hit series currently on HD Theater; including INSIDE WEST COAST CUSTOMS, MECUM AUTO AUCTIONS, CAFÉ RACER, and CHASING CLASSIC CARS, will be pillars of the Velocity primetime lineup. "

Velocity : Discovery HD Theater

So does anyone know if this new channel that will be replacing HD theater will be mirrored on the "Test" channel?

it's only for fans of the current president.... lol .....

Any president and most Congressmen. Who wants to watch about the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Millionaires are less tthan 3% of the population, I think that I read somewhere.

I always thought HD Theater had terrible picture quality, especially on those car shows. It amazes me how some channels/programs are called HD but look nothing like it.

By by discovery network who needs myth busters anyway discovery Channel is one big myth. /QUOTE]

Only HD Theater. Discovery is not leaving.

"Wheeler Dealers" is not HD.It's upconverted british SD! Is that one your talking about. Because thats the only one i know of that the picture quality sucks.

Man I think this is a DUMB move. Why don't they just add the some new shows to the channel. But to target 'rich" boys/men with a channel. I think that this may go under in no time at all.

[tigerfan33]

I stopped watching when they started adding more commercials in their programming.

BTY, that was Northern Arizona University, not University of Arizona.

Can we use the space to uplink a worth while HD channel, like (fill in the blank). Please don't say Disney or MLB Network. It's becoming annoying to hear the same complaints that we all know Dish doesn't want to address.

[long_time_Dish]

I want Rave-HD back. Palladia just sucks so bloody bad...

(Just had to add my two-cents worth).

I can't believe what i'm hearing! Nobody likes, "Chasing Classic Cars, Street Customs"? Hopefully they carry those shows over.

I agree, Chasing Classic Cars is one of my favorite shows. I hope they carry it over too.

Just saw the promo....Wayne Carini was in it, so we can only assume that CCC is a part of it.

Just saw the promo.....must....have...now!

Yeah, good question, so us poor folk can get a glimpse into the life of someone who makes $150K+ a year.
