Is the stock HR20 remote RF compatible?

Which model of remote? They have changed over time. If it is RF-capable, it will have an FCC ID label on the back, above the battery access door. Mine came with a RC34 and I suspect that new HR20s come with the RC-64R, both of which are IR- and RF-capable.

Mine that was installed a few weeks ago came with a RF/IR remote. Didn't realize this at first and used it in IR mode for a while. Discovered the RF function, attached the included antenna to the rear of the receiver and reprogrammed the remote for RF operation. That's the good news. Bad news, the receiver was much slower to respond to the remote. Changed it back to IR mode.
