Had looked at the HQRP, missing CC, DVR, Media buttons! Would want original remote! It would have been nice if there was an app except for the fact that the newer smartphones don't have an IR Blaster.
They make a micro USB IR emitter for smart phones. There are several remote apps with learning function.
This android phone app does list GEOSAT & will work Micro HD receiver! Did get a new remote order & not stuck on one channel now!https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy4

This phone app pulls up all screens, does everything the original remote can, and DVR function works! Starting to like phone remote better than original! Sure liking my Samsung phone even more!
