Is there a HDPVR receiver?

I have the HR24/200 receiver. I am wondering if direct tv has a receiver with HDPVR built in?

Uhh PVR is what they used to call DVRs. It's a different word for the same thing.

My question is, is my receiver capable of recording video streaming from my ps3. I really don't want to have to purchase a HDPVr if it isn't necessary.

No, the DirecTV units do not record external sources (nor cable, ATT or DISH to my knowledge) . You will need to get a stand-alone PVR or PVR card for your PC to do this.

LOL, well "I'm afraid were not in Kansas anymore toto." thanks tho, I just would have hated to have bought the other device if this one was capable of doiing the job.
