Is there a model number difference between a 2w horizontal and a 2w vertical receive radio? I may need to replace a horizontal receive radio assymbly for a customer and all I have is a vertical receive. Can I switch the position of the lnb?

I believe there is a shim you can pull out and rotate 90 degrees.
Or you actually need to get a special shim hit to do it, not sure which.
It's between the end of the TX wave guide at the top where it meets up with the LNB.

I would confirm that with someone that has actually done this first.

I am not a HN pro but I play one on TV......

there is NO difference. receive, weather it be horizontal or vertical doesnt matter one bit. the lnb will pick up either. the difference is actually the transmit. when you transmit vertically which is on very few frequencies, will require a vertical shim kit. you will be able to tell just by looking at the radio assembly.
