I have a 24" dish which is WAY better than the 18" dish. Well, Friday night I had some pretty heavy rain. Voom was out for a couple hours. I have to wonder if the 30" dish would have helped me at all.

Anybody have any real experience related to this that you can share?

If I had a HD DVR, I could record movies and save them for these rainy days.

THANKS!

A 24" is better than an 18" a 30" is even better but in heavy storms it will still cut out, that is satellite! I have a 30" that I use for DBS and the rain outages are few and far between but they still happen!

I use to use a 20" for ExpressVu..had many outages

Switched to a 30"...outages happen in heavy rains

now I use a 24"...can use the 30 for free to air stuff :) (fta is 30" minimum)
