I got a PM a week or so ago asking why I haven't done the Friday Fun Poll in a while. Never thought about bringing it back but with a lot of newer FTA'ers on here, I figured lets bring it back
For the uninformed (and the ones who need a refresher) the FFP is a question I throw out there with a couple options to choose from. Now the only rules are
1. However the question is written, thats how it has to be answered. No additional info
2. Don't think of your current FTA setup. Some of us can't do C-Band or have LOS issues but it the FFP there are no drawbacks here.
3. Have fun with it
An example we had was
"if you could only have ONE receiver in your setup, do you want it to have motor controls or blind scan?"....Sounds simple, right
OK...for today's FFP
You currently have the most awesome Dish setup. 12 foot solid dish with C & KU on it and can view from 30W over to 148W. You are proud of your dish and now you need a new receiver. You already have the V-Box controller so all you need is the new box. So you buy a new receiver that has blind scan, HD, OTA tuner and a PVR already in it....but there is one feature missing
What would it be?
4:2:2 capability or
DVB-S2 capability?
You can only choose ONE. And don't say "I'll add a PC card for 4:2:2" because that isn't an option. Remember rule 1
So what would you pick????
