Joey 2 Firmware upgrade to U270

Our government at work: TV must be controllable by a blind person. Why???? Maybe the TV or receiver should be required to describe what's on the screen

They're both equally bad. In fact, I think Dish's is worse.

Directvs voice sounds better but DISH's is better because it properly pronounces things. So instead of f o o d h d Dish's says Food Network HD.

Not when I tried it. For "Discovery" channel, which shows in the guide as "DISC", the text-to-speech said "disc". The next channel in the guide is "Hallmark", which is abbreviated "HLMK" and the voice spelled it out as "H-L-M-K".

Interestingly, on my Hopper, it lists having s/w U269 for the Joey when the Joey in fact has U270.
