That's good advice. I think I'll wait until these Joey 3's become available for purchase at Dish Depot or some other place. I'd rather buy one and install it myself than suffer another 2 year commitment.
Another difference is that the 4K Joey has Bluetooth built in while the Joey3 would need the usb Bluetooth adapter if you want to use Bluetooth headphones. Thus I am leaning toward paying $50 for the 4K Joey for my basement TV.

I have a problem with Pandora but my H3 has the same problem so its just mirrored I think. I don't pay for Netflix so I don't know but the rest of the apps work fine. Locals work fine.....
Listening to a artist if I don't like the song you can skip to the next song well my H3 about 50% of the time it will skip but the song will not start which freezes Pandora, I have to keep skipping 1-2-3 songs to start playing again. It has done this from day 1 of install which was day 2 of the release of the H3[a long time], updates will not fix it. I think the only way to fix it is to replace my H3 and I won't do that until its dead I have Pandora on other devices it works perfect other than Pandora.
just got my Joey 3s, thanks to DIRT here. I definitely notice a speed change and actually think the picture is a bit clearer. Really notice it in the guide. Love the 54 remote illumination feature. Not sure how much I'll use the voice commands. But so far so good.
