Is your Hopper connected via WiFi? If so that makes sense, because the Joeys connect to the network and obtain an IP address with the connection used by the Hopper, so to the router all of your Dish devices will seem to be connected from the same place.
It is something new, they use to show connected via ethernet and Hopper showed wireless...Maybe something in router
