When a question is asked would it be a good idea to specifie if
it is for C band or KU band cause we dont all have both.

It would be a good idea, if it's applicable, but of course, it's one of those non-enforceable things. Pretty much we just end up replying that we need more information before we can comment with any authority. It WOULD be nice if the original post contained all the pertinent information, but we don't we see many of those.
C-band inquiries go in the ....drumroll please.....C-band area! Ku stuff is usually found in the regular FTA area.

One more thing that drives me wild, is when folks don't set their Location.!.!
"Canada", "USA", and your state motto are NOT locations!
Neither are "Twin Cities", nor "Tri-Cities", and just 'cause the locals have a cute name, doesn't mean I know it on the other side of the country.
"Orange County" is a nearby local area I visit all the time.
But maybe others are more familiar with Orange County, New York, thanks to a popular motorcycle-building show...?
So, if you put a nearby major city and state, or at least a zip code, we can give you better help with aiming, setup, signal strength, deals, dishes, shipping, etc.
Please show your City/State so others have a clue where you are:
Go to - (for 2011 forum software)
- top right of page, click on: My Profile
- the About Me tab should be highlighted
- under Basic Information, see My Location, and click on the pencil
- fill in city/state, and click on Save.
Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?
