Just got two 922 and two HDD200

Someone just ditched their HD 4DTV setup and gave me their kit !!!

Are the HDD200 good for anything? Upconverting?

The HDD 200 is good for PBS Net HD on W3. As an up converter it's pretty poor.

I use one with an LCD display on my work beach it works OK.

I thought the HDD 200 was put in line for the dsr-922 to get the HD quaility.

The HDD 200 was used on the Mpeg 2 Digicipher 2 HD channels. Most of those now have migrated to Mpeg 4 and they were disappearing for some time when you could subscribe to them. The picture quality of those masters was fantastic.
