Hi all
I would like to make a little survey if i may!....
My question is what is the sattellite that most people tune in on KU band
beside 97 West.
I am always on Amc 6 at 72 West for NBC feeds, and i would like to know
if there is anything better....
Thanks Bob VE2 FCZ....

right now???
83W for Luken stuff (Tuff, PBJ, RTV)

but normally its whatever satellite has sports feeds :)

125W for PBS most of the time here then 99W for news.

I leave my dish on 125W just about all the time. Once in a while I'll move it to 97W or 83W for something specific.

I have a fixed dish on 125W, and will be putting up another this weekend on 103W for the Olympics. 30W is also a good candidate, especially since it is beyond USALS range for many who use motorized dishes.

If this thread was done say 4 years ago I'm sure the consensus would be 123W ;)
(Equity was still up and running full boar 4 years ago....3 years ago it crumbled)

Ice i remember all the stations on 123 w at the time rtv wgmu and many more
they were the good old days, but now not much left beside the feeds.
But still better than having none....
I use to install C Band dish in 1985 you remember all the stations we had???...

I didnt have C-Band back then.....didnt really get into it until 97 when my dad bought a cabin. Had a 5 foot dish there on G5 and the Rat Shack receiver
Had some programming on there for about a year then **poof** it was gone. Had only a couple freebie channels left. Never resubbed to it because didnt know how to.

We got Dish then
